 The Environmental Leadership Program is a service learning program with a broader mission of civic engagement, giving undergraduates the opportunity to apply what they are learning in the classroom in a real world setting. The Marine Team’s main goal is to provide hands-on environmental education in Charleston, Oregon that promotes coastal stewardship.  We work in conjunction with Oregon State Parks, South Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve, and the Oregon Institute of Marine Biology. Through these community partners we are able to introduce many students to the wonders of the Oregon coast.
